Harvest Table lives in an old mill with a long history and a rather wonderful new purpose.
The building forms part of the old Ceres Mill, with roots stretching back to the late 1700s. Over the years it has had several lives, but since Harvest Table opened its doors in 2012, it has become what we love most: a place where people gather.
Locals and travellers. Families and friends. People passing through and people who came back because they remembered the food.
And, inevitably, people who arrived for lunch and stayed much longer than planned.
That’s the magic of a country table. Good food. Good company. A few stories. And always, another chair if you need one.

Die mense wat gekom en gegaan het en tog iets van hulleself agtergelaat het.En dalk is dit juis wat Suid-Afrika so besonders maak: ons almal dra stukke van ander mense se stories saam met ons.Ons erfenis is soms mooi. Soms ingewikkeld. Soms pynlik.
