Situated between mountain at the famous White Bridge between Ceres and Wolseley. 2012 was the year Winterberg Mountain Inn and Harvest Table Bistro (formerly known as Mill & Oaks) was opened.
Harvest Table Bistro is a family restaurant serving delicious hearty meals in generous portions.
Function facilities and accommodation on the premises is also available.

Winterberg Mountain Inn with its Harvest Table Bistro (between Ceres and Wolseley at the start of Michell’s Pass), stands proud on the original foundation of a wheat mill known as the Ceres Mill (see copy of etch by 19th century artists Thinus de Jongh).
The mill was believed to have been built by the first European settlers in the late-1700’s.
The milling stone of this so called “bakkiesmeul” can still be seen in the inn’s garden and the mill’s cog work has been preserved partially and can be seen inside the bistro.

Harvest Table Bistro is all about country-style hospitality and good, honest cooking … with a modern twist of course.
Our guests come here to eat because they are hungry and love our generous portions. Our house specialities include the best New Orleans-style Mississippi pork ribs in the Boland, Malay-style lamb, chicken and vegetable curries, seafood chowder, pulled pork and generous, 100% beef burgers and rustic wood-fired pizzas, to name but a few.
We cater for functions for up to 100 guests and also offer wedding packages for between 60 people (under-roof) and 100 people (garden wedding)
